Is it ok to modify a steel string acoustic guitar to use nylon strings?

For the neck would be defective switch to nylon strings? If you decide to make the switch, probably do a technology guitar redo or replace the nut, but what concerns the bridge?

    The place you have to the guitarbut yeah think it broke what do you got it cant if its new guitar just make sure your guitar just.

    The saddle nut and tuning machines to anchor them while nylon uses knotted loops so this will be your first hurdle next since nylon strings are larger diameter youll have to neck.

    Not really, acoustic guitars are meant to be steel strings.

    however there are nylon strings acoustic but those have a wider neck.

    so i suggest you not to but you could always get a nylon string guitar.
