I need to remove micro scratches from a chromed plated surface on a steel guitar endplate?

Take it to a rechroming shop and get it buffed or ask advice………Paul

Needs a cotton buffing wheel to get it back to perfect mirror. Chrome/metal shop can do it. Few mintues while you stand there.
Otherwise a microfiber towel, elbow grease, and some good automotive polishes. Maybe even mixed in with like Turtlewax chrome cleaner (50:50).

For minute pour some more on the chrome is can of coca cola im serious.

A soft cloth, some cigarette ashes and elbow grease makes a great super-fine polishing rouge. Usually where there are steel guitars, there are cigarette ashes.
