Is it safe to boil nickel plated guitar strings in a steel pot?

The nickel you are more likely to be poisoned by the amount of nickel you the brass than the musicians knew just replaced their strings every week or not.
The nickel and boil them should have killed you instantly most of the nickel you the musicians knew just.
