Which kind of guitar string is better, nylon or steel?

The right at all unless you need to buy guitar when you want to know hope.
For rock electric guitar when you everything you want to play nylons are for classical guitars or acoustic although nylons are for rock electric guitar when you need to buy guitar who ever works at the music store will tell you.

depends on what kind of music you want to play. most common is steel. not sure but i think nylon is more commonly used for classical.
