What will happen if I put steel accoustic strings on an electric guitar?

I 'the VE has snapped the two main sets of my electric and the only strings in the house are those acoustic steel. It 's too late to go to shops and all'io was getting just a song I' m learning! I don 't mind so much if it sounds a bit bad or even if I can' t plug it inside with them above, but if the guitar hurt in any way I 'd rather not, obv. Thank you
