Guitar players I need your help! If you play fingerstyle on a steel string you could help?
Written by admin on March 26, 2009 – 6:53 am -I used to play the fingerstyle guitar on a nylon string, now I love the string steel even more, except my nails can 'handle at it. The more I practice and play more defective get my nails. I 'VE has heard the various solutions, false nails (which I don' t think will work) and staff of nail hardener (more promise). I don 'you won' t keeps them until a player classic (which also infastidice in daily life) and I 'm more about the tone that the speed, play the Azzurri and the stuff of bar-harvest of bluegrass-ish, as well as music influenced by classical strings ee many Indian strumming too. Of the recommendations? Thanks for your help. 10 points to best answer! anyone ago finding that the nails too short make-abarretta collected more difficult, I tend to use my fingers, but with a little support plug if the nails are too short, play harder

The nails just use your fingers.

Well actually , where nails come in as a kind of part and parcel to classical-ish nylon string type delivery, it’s not so much a factor when carried over to steel string. Mostly we’d use our fingertips , and in a quest to get louder , we then use a pick - something that is hardly used in nylon string playing. So , nails or no nails , i think it’s just a preference with steel strings.

they do sell picks that attach to your fingers but i just keep my nails short. you eventually develop callouses on your picking hand.
