Guitar players I need your help! If you play fingerstyle on a steel string you could help?

The more I practice and play more defective get my nails. I 'VE has heard the various solutions, false nails (which I don' t think will work) and staff of nail hardener (more promise). Can I put classical guitar strings (nylon) on a steel string guitar?

The nylon strings are easier on the fingers that the steel strings. Why not simply buy a classical guitar? The fretboard on a classical guitar is much wider than a guitar bends. In addition, the fretboard is the plan, making the bar chords a little provocative. What 's the point?
